Message from our Founder

Hi, there,

One of my first memories was my birthday. That’s me at my birthday parties when I was 2 and 5 years’ old. I had a frog party when I was 2 and a Star Wars’ party when I was 5. I still smile thinking about my 5th birthday party. I remember the excitement and anticipation I had leading up to my special day. It was a day to eat lots of cake, laugh, play, and spread joy with family and friends.

Every child should have that same opportunity to experience their childhood and be the absolute star for a day. I want other children to know they are special and important no matter what adversity or life challenges they face.

During the past few years, I have decorated birthday boxes, made birthday cards, and even planned a party or two for other charitable organizations but I never got to participate in the party. While those activities were certainly rewarding, I wanted to see the fun and smiles firsthand so I decided to form Celebrate You, perhaps allowing me to re-live my own childhood in some way.

With Celebrate You, each child recipient will create his or her own birthday adventure, and each party will be tailored to create an unforgettable experience.
